​Empowering women to navigate their menopause journey with understanding and ease.

As someone who has personally experienced the struggles of transitioning through menopause, I know how isolating and overwhelming it can feel; Insomnia, brain fog, anxiety, fatigue, muscle & joint discomfort, you name it I had it . . . my quality of life changed as I dragged myself through each day.  As a Breast cancer survivor I was told Hormone treatment had its risks. I tried many alternative treatments, herbs and potions. My yoga practice comprising of poses, breathing techniques, meditation and a lot of yoga nidra supported me through this challenging time.

I discovered simple, achievable changes I could make to my lifestyle to support the symptoms I was experiencing. I further enhanced my knowledge as a Registered Nurse by undertaking MyMT Menopause Lifestyle Practitioner Course by Dr Wendy Sweet. This inspired me to support women going through the Peri & Post-menopausal stages of life.

I offer one-on-one coaching either in-person (Christchurch or North Canterbury) or via Zoom, making it convenient to access support wherever you are. Together, we’ll create an individualised plan that addresses your unique needs and supports you to embrace this natural life stage with confidence and ease.

How it works

1. Comprehensive Wellbeing Assessment (1.5 hours)
Your first session begins with a detailed wellbeing assessment, designed specifically for midlife women transitioning through menopause.
  • Prior to our session, you’ll complete a Health Questionnaire to help me better understand your symptoms and concerns and where to focus strategies to improve your health & wellbeing.
  • During the session, we’ll discuss symptom management and lifestyle strategies tailored to your needs, and I’ll guide you in developing a personalised lifestyle change plan.
Pause & Flow Wellness offers yoga teaching and menopause support focusing on relaxation, wellbeing, and holistic health
2. Follow-Up Support Sessions (45-60 minutes)
In these sessions, we’ll review your symptoms and progress, adjusting your lifestyle plan as needed. These sessions ensure ongoing support to help you optimise your health and navigate menopause with confidence.

Lifestyle Strategies

Your personalised programme will address five key pillars of health to support you through your menopause journey:
  • Sleep Support: Strategies to improve sleep quality and combat insomnia.
  • Nutrition: Guidance on healthy food choices for weight management, gut and liver health and symptom relief.
  • Stress and Anxiety Management: Techniques to calm the mind and body, including breathing exercises, mindfulness and Yoga Nidra.
  • Movement: Incorporating yoga and other practices to promote muscle and joint health and general wellbeing.
  • Connection: Discovering how you can enrich your life through social & self connection for improved mental and emotional wellbeing.
